Introduction:
This is the premier course in the United States. It sets the benchmark certification forthe industry and is designed for the professional who wants the designation of AR-15/M16 Armorer. The course covers the AR-15/M16 platforms and provides instruction on how to diagnose and repair malfunctions, return firearms to military specs, perform function inspections, check headspace and more.
Armorer training classes are a mixture of classroom instruction and hands-on exercises, enabling each student to achieve a high degree of familiarity with the topics covered. Class begins at 08:30 hours.
Upon completion, graduates will be able to repair and maintain the AR-15/M16 platform to military specifications. They will be issued a three-year certification, and receive one-on-one Ballistic Edge
Specialized Training phone and/or e-mail support.
Prerequisite:
Basic knowledge of AR platform operation.
Qualifications for the Class:
Must be active in Law Enforcement, or covered under HR218, or possess a current Concealed Carry Permit, or have a current FFL, or work for a business that holds a current FFL.
Gear Requirements:
None – all weapons and armorer’s tools will be provided
