Welcome to The Windham Weaponry Newsletter – Vol. 4 / Issue 6
Mark Eliason, VP Sales & Marketing
In this issue, I want to introduce you to something old, yet new! The Dissipator concept has been around for quite a few years and here is our version of this “Old School” configuration. The Dissipator combines full length handguards for better heat dissipation and the same sight radius as a 20″ target rifle on a carbine gas system. The gas block is concealed under the handguards and the 16″ M4 profile barrel balances out this carbine at 7.2lbs. These are available as complete rifles or as complete upper and barrel assemblies now – in both M4 profile and Heavy barrel configurations.
We receive a variety of customer service related questions from our customers, and in order to better serve all of you, highlight one question each month.
This month’s question is:
I’d like to change the flash hider. What is the thread pitch on my Windham Weaponry rifle?
Our rifles with the barrel stamped WW 5.56 NATO have a ½” x 28 thread pitch.
Our rifles with the barrel stamped WW 308, WW 762 x 39 and WW 300 BLACKOUT have a 5/8″ x 24 thread pitch.
**Please Note: Our compliant models have a pinned and welded muzzle brake, permanently installed. We do not recommend attempting to remove muzzle brakes on those models as it may damage the barrel.

TThe ZCORR Vacuum Tactical Storage Bag was designed to protect modern tactical rifles or other firearms with large attachments from rust and general corrosion. The vacuum valve and 100% water proof and airtight zipper closure allow this bag to be reusable and maintain its enhanced preservation qualities for extended periods of time in multitudes of environments. ZCORR Vacuum bags have a strong reinforcing layer which reduces the threat of tears or punctures. Depending on a firearm’s overall height optics, lights, and magazines may remain mounted and are unaffected by VpCI molecules. As always, optics should be stored with caps on if caps are available. These bags have a one-way vacuum valve installed that allows use of any vacuum cleaner hose to evacuate air from the bag. The Tactical Weapon Bags are the most convenient storage and preservation solution for AR platform rifles, AK’s, and other modern repeating rifles. Bag dimensions are 49″ x 14″.
The ZCORR Velcro Tactical Firearm Storage Bag was designed to protect rifles and shotguns from rust and corrosion. Depending on a firearm’s overall height, optics may remain mounted and are unaffected by VCI molecules (optics should be stored with caps on). These bags are the most convenient reusable storage and preservation solution for many modern American sporting firearms. Velcro Series firearm storage bags are ideal when there are firearms that are rarely to frequently used due to the easy closure system. Construction of a heavy duty VCI impregnated foil lamination provides years of corrosion protection, and heavy duty industrial grade Velcro closures ensure that your firearm stays in the bag and stays protected. Depending on use, firearms can be stored rust free for 5+ years. Bag dimensions are 49″ x 14″.
