We’re holding out hope that we’ve seen the last major snowstorm of the season up here in Maine. That means the varmints will be emerging from hibernation soon, and we’ll be targeting them with our Vex-SS Wood Stock Series.
The Vex-SS is one of our best varmint guns – it’s an incredibly accurate .223 Remington/5.56 NATO caliber! The Picatinny flat-top receiver is ready for your favorite optic! You can choose the Nutmeg stock or the Pepper with Electroless Nickel!

I recently purchased a Windham rifle. I did not receive the chamber plug/tool with the gun. How can I get one of these?
We ship all of our rifles with a chamber plug/tool. Once the rifle is test fired, before it goes over to our inspection station, and then on to our packing and shipping area, the Chamber Plug is inserted.
Your dealer may have removed it when unpacking the
rifle. You can request a replacement by calling us toll free at 1-855-808-1888 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, address and serial number of the rifle. We will mail out a replacement for you.
FEATURED PRODUCT: FRONT SIGHT POST KIT
MATT HASTY, SALES AND MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER
This kit will help you install the correct front sight post for your rifle to insure proper sight elevation with your rear sight.
It comes with a standard A2 front sight, a .040” taller front sight and a .060” taller front sight, plus an installation tool. The .040” post is recommended for most rifles that have a standard A2 height front sight base (non F marked) and a rear flip sight or mil-spec carry handle.
For rifles with the longer rifle length sight radius, such as the Windham Weaponry Dissipator or rifles with a 20” barrel or longer, a .060” taller sight post is recommended.
All pieces are made from black finished steel and are made in the U. S. A.
QUALITY, FIT, and FINISH, BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK, LIFETIME GUARANTEE. I honestly did more research on the AR platform than I pray you ever consider doing. The tightness of this rifle, the overall quality, far surpasses others I looked at in person: Colt, RRA, M&P, a few others. At this price point, YOU CANNOT FIND A BETTER BUILT RIFLE.
They case they give you is nice. You also get the shoulder sling. Be sure to get the 5.56 so you can shoot the 5.56 AND 223.
The 1 in 7 twist rate runs best with brass-cased 62 grain-80 grain. I LOVE THIS RIFLE!!!!!! I wanted my 1990 Army issued Colt M 16A 2. This is the same exact weapon I had in the service only without the 3-round burst and with much better fit/finish.
Other difference is the Windham has an A4 rear sight and A2 front sight. It’s a non-issue. Some may say this weapon looks “PLAIN”…I say its beauty is in its simplicity. No rails, no optics, just straight quality, and beauty .
